Each treatment is a two-visit process — the initial procedure followed by a touch-up four to six weeks later — to achieve the best healed result for your skin.
Nano hairstroke is a method of cosmetic tattooing that uses a digital machine. A very fine single needle deposits pigment in individual hair-like strokes, building a brow that blends with your natural hair — so precisely that the result reads as your own face, even up close.
A touch-up session is scheduled four to six weeks after the initial procedure to refine the healed result and complete the colour. Nano hairstroke brows last 12–18 months, or longer with occasional touch-up sessions.
Ombré brows produce a gradient, airbrush effect — lighter at the front edges that gradually transition to a fuller, deeper body and tail. The healed look resembles a perfectly pencilled or softly powdered-over brow, while remaining entirely natural in texture.
This technique is well-suited to all skin types, including oilier skin where hairstroke techniques can spread. The result lasts 12–18 months and holds its shape through the day without smudging or fading.
Also known as "blade and shade", combination brows marry the two techniques above — nanoblading hair strokes through the body of the brow, layered with ombré powder shading to add definition and depth. The result has the texture of hairstroke brows and the fullness of powder brows: natural yet defined, and longer-lasting than either technique alone.
A touch-up is included four to six weeks after the initial session. Longevity is 12–18 months, with the option to refresh at annual touch-up appointments.
An eyeliner tattoo places pigment precisely along the upper lash line to recreate the look of wearing liner — shaping and defining the eye with a finish that is always there, always even, and never transfers to your upper lid. The technique helps elongate the eye, define its shape, and add the appearance of fuller lashes at the root.
A touch-up is included four to six weeks after the initial session to complete the healed result. Eyeliner tattoos last up to three years.
Lip blush implants pigment below the surface layer of the skin to produce the most natural form of semi-permanent lip tattooing. The result improves the shape of your lips, helps correct asymmetries, defines the border, and adds a flush of colour that reads as your own natural lip — only more even, more defined, and more consistently present.
Lip blush can also lighten naturally dark lips and camouflage scars. A touch-up is included to refine the healed result. Lip blush tattoos last two to three years.
The removal process uses the same equipment as cosmetic tattooing, but replaces the pigment with a specialised removal solution. The solution draws the old pigment to the surface, allowing it to lift naturally over a series of sessions. Unlike laser removal, it does not target pigment by colour — making it suitable for correcting a broader range of faded or discoloured permanent makeup results.
The number of sessions required depends on your skin type, the size of the treatment area, and the age of the existing tattoo. Sessions are spaced eight weeks apart to allow the skin to fully recover between treatments.

Permanent makeup is the micro-implantation of colouring pigments into the skin for aesthetic purposes — to enhance, contour, and outline facial features. It is also a valuable procedure for camouflaging scars, burns, and skin pigmentation variances caused by conditions such as vitiligo, correcting some facial irregularities, and further enhancing facial rejuvenation or post-operative treatments.
Longevity varies by treatment: nano hairstroke, ombré, and combination brows last 12–18 months (longer with touch-ups); top eyeliner lasts up to three years; lip blush lasts two to three years. Factors including skin type, sun exposure, and skincare routine all affect how your result fades over time.
Many of Era's clients have had previous cosmetic tattooing from another studio. If you have existing permanent makeup, please mention this when you get in touch before booking — Era will assess the condition of the existing pigment and advise on the best approach, whether that is an overlay, correction, or removal first.
Every appointment begins with a consultation and mapping session. The shape, arch, colour, and style of your brows (or lip border) are mapped and agreed before any pigment is placed. You will be shown the mapping and asked to confirm before work begins.
